‘Straight Talk’ Podcast Episode 2 Spotlights Mondavi Legacy with Exclusive Interviews

Hosted by Wine Spectator’s James Molesworth, episode 2 of the new Straight Talk podcast features a deep dive into the Robert Mondavi Winery legacy, featuring exclusive interviews with Wine Spectator editor and publisher Marvin R. Shanken, Continuum Estate co-founder and Robert’s son Tim Mondavi, international winemaking star and Mondavi winery alum Paul Hobbs, and with Mount Veeder winery founders and former Mondavi winery tour guides Arlene and Michael Bernstein.

In never-before-heard exclusive interviews, episode 2 of Straight Talk includes striking recollections of the Robert Mondavi era, including Tim Mondavi’s memories growing up at Charles Krug winery, a chance encounter between the Bernsteins and Robert Mondavi on his first date with Margrit Biever, and the moment 30 years ago when Marvin R. Shanken recognized that the Mondavi brand was in trouble.

Molesworth also discusses the future of the Robert Mondavi brand with Robert Hanson, president of Constellation’s Wine & Spirits division, which now owns the Mondavi winery and its esteemed To Kalon Vineyard.
