Easy Red Wine Mussel Recipe

1 pound of mussels (pre-cooked)
1 cup yellow onion (chopped)
5 garlic cloves (minced)
1 cup tomato (chopped)
1 cup red wine
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp salt
2 teaspoon of fresh parsley (chopped)
2 tablespoon of cilantro (chopped)
1 cup of Marinara sauce
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
Dried basil


1. In a large skillet or pot, add vegetable oil
2. Add onions and garlic. Stir until translucent on medium heat
4. Pour in red wine (stir for 2 minutes)
5. Add parsley, tomatoes, cilantro, red pepper flakes, and salt. (Stir for 2 minutes)
6. Add marinara sauce (stir for 2 minutes)
7. Add mussels (stir for 3 minutes)
8. Pour in bowl and sprinkle some dried basil on top
9. Serve with baguette
