How to Make Fig Wine – Using Dried Figs. Figs have such interesting flavors, and lots of cultures have used them for millenia. Also, the idea of a wine made with fig and honey just sounds pretty amazing. So, we set out to concoct a recipe to make a fig wine!

2 pounds Dried Figs
1/2 pound Raisins
Zest of one Lemon
Juice of one Lemon
1 pound (454 grams) Wildflower Honey (thanks Derek Skinner!)
Steeped Black Tea
Lalvin 71B yeast
Water to appropriate Head Space
